Jarrod Horak’s SANTA ANITA Pick 6 Preview for Saturday (2-10-18)

SA 5Blackjackcat might be the controlling speed in the G3 Thunder Road. If he needs the race, watch out for flat mile turf specialist Bowies Hero.

SA 6Ax Man looked great in his debut and he might join the Derby trail if he wins today’s G2 San Vicente Stakes. All Out Blitz turns back for sharp dirt sprint trainer Simon Callaghan. He might get first run.

SA 7 Wise Curlin drops for dangerous turf/dirt trainer Peter Eurton. Graduation day has arrived. Is Trevor Clever enters in decent form.

SA 8 – Returnee Sawyer’s Hill is probably the one to catch but he might need the race. Van Cortlandt is a logical trifecta threat but he has yet to win at this distance. Tartini is a first time gelding making his US bow with Bejarano in the irons.

SA 9Quick Finish exits a productive maiden heat and might run away and hide in his first start vs. winners. If he fails to stay seven panels, look for recent Peter Miller claim Acker to pick up the pieces.

SA 10 – The favorites might be vulnerable in the downhill finale. Frenchmen Street and Majestic Eagle are the value win contenders.
