Santa Anita Park Pick 6 Preview for Feb. 3

Friday Santa Anita Park Recap: February 2

Fast main track and firm turf course. One front running winner on dirt (6f). Three of the other four dirt races were nabbed by horses sitting right behind the early leader in second. The winning turf course running styles were two downhill front runners, and a patient runner down the hill (rail at 30 feet/rail on hill at 14 feet).

Jarrod Horak’s SANTA ANITA Pick 6 Preview for Saturday (2-3-18)

SA 4 Tizanillusion and Mongolian Shopper are logical early threats in this downhill sprint. If the pace heats up, look for Tweeting and Salten Sapity in the late going.

SA 5Peace and Shivermetimbers should be there early and possibly late in the Robert Lewis Stakes. A fast pace would suit Ayacara.

SA 6Mercer Island and Moonlight Blue are the favorites in this NW2L claiming dirt route. Reverand Al stretches out.

SA 7 – San Gabriel hero Itsinthepost meets the last two winners of the San Marcos (Isotherm and Flamboyant).

SA 8 – This edition of the San Pasqual is a real puzzle. Accelerate and Prime Attraction should show speed. Pavel projects a ground saving stalking trip. Mubtaahij has the class to win this. Top of the Game loves Santa Anita, and Irish Freedom needs pace help.

SA 9Bowie is fast enough to go all the way in the hillside finale. Gotham Desire is a sharp stalker, and Gone To Win is on the upswing.

Saturday’s Pick 6 Budget and Spread Tickets are included with my Santa Anita Park full card analysis at winninghorsepicks.com
